進入KDJ指標詳細圖解教學的第二篇，在進階篇當中我們應當先學習KDJ指標的適用性和KDJ指標與均線的配合應用。
1.KDJ指標的適用性：
談到KDJ指標的適用性，我們首先要認識到KDJ指標並不是像某些書本上講到的金叉做多，死叉做空的概念。而其實KDJ指標是一個迴圈指標與強弱指標，在無趨勢的情況下不建議使用，也就是說均線糾結時、震盪行情中，不建議使用。
而為什麼不建議使用呢？其真正意義在於KDJ指標管理的是金價的強弱，而KDJ指標並不掌管金價的趨勢。而在震盪行情中，我們經常會發現KDJ指標不斷發出金叉與死叉的信號，首先是信號過於頻繁，再者是大多都是虛假信號，因此我們在使用KDJ指標時，應儘量避免在震盪行情中使用。
2.KDJ指標與均線的配合應用：
在KDJ指標與均線的配合應用中，分為趨勢向上與趨勢向下兩種，也就是說均線多頭排列或均線空頭排列對KDJ來說，其意義完全是兩個概念。
①均線多頭排列的情況下，KDJ指標金叉，表示允許追高。
②均線多頭排列的情況下，KDJ指標死叉，表示逢低做多的信號。
③均線空頭排列的情況下，KDJ指標金叉，表示逢高做空。
④均線空頭排列的情況下，KDJ指標死叉，表示追空信號。
