拜登呼籲美聯儲“重校”支持，美元走低黃金創近二個月新高
周三(1月19日)美元指數四天來首次下跌，2年期和10年期美債收益率在觸及約兩年高位後也回落，澳元和挪威克朗領漲，加元表現落後。黃金價格升至兩個月高點，現貨白銀漲近3%，美元走軟以及圍繞烏克蘭的地緣政治緊張局勢增強了黃金的避險吸引力，推動一輪貴金屬漲勢。原油期貨繼續上漲並創7年多以來的最高收盤價，從伊拉克向土耳其的輸油管道發生火災使原油輸送中斷，以及國際能源署上調了對2022年的原油需求增長預期，推動油價走高。

美國總統拜登：美聯儲現在有必要適當地校準支持性政策，以便抗擊通脹。控制物價上漲是美聯儲至關重要的工作職責，支持美聯儲在制定貨幣政策方面的獨立性。國會山應當絲毫不拖延地確認鮑威爾連任美聯儲主席。奧密克戎毒株構成擔憂但無需恐慌，我們不會重新實施封鎖措施。
