美元小幅走高，金價漲勢受阻
周二（1月18日）亞洲時段，現貨黃金幾乎持穩，交投于1819附近。周一（1月17日）金價小幅上漲，交易員在貨幣政策前景和美國新一輪疫情構成的威脅之間進行權衡。另外，中東局勢緊張以及經濟複蘇緩慢等因素也支撐金價。
全球就業複蘇所需時間將長于預期，因疫情不確定性
國際勞工組織(ILO)周一在一份報告中表示，全球就業市場複蘇所需的時間將長于此前的預期，由于疫情演變進程和持續時間的不確定性，失業率至少在2023年之前都將保持在疫情爆發前的水平以上。
ILO估計，與疫情前相比，2022年全球工作時間減少，相當于減少約5200萬個全職崗位，是2021年6月預測降幅的約兩倍。
ILO在其《全球就業和社會展望：2022年趨勢》報告中表示，就業幹擾將持續到2023年，屆時就業崗位仍將比疫情前少約2700萬個，警告稱經濟複蘇“緩慢且不確定”。
報告稱：“自上次公布預測以來，全球勞動力市場前景已經惡化；未來幾年，全球大部分地區的表現可能仍難以恢複到大流行前的水平。”
ILO總幹事萊德(Guy Ryder)對記者表示，修正預測背後有許多因素，“主要的一個因素是持續的大流行及變種病毒，特別是Omicron。”
根據報告，複蘇速度因地區而異，歐洲和北美地區顯示出最令人鼓舞的迹象，東南亞和南美地區落後。
盡管如此，預計今年的工時降幅將較過去兩年有所縮小。ILO估計，2021年工時降幅相當于全職崗位數比大流行前減少了約1.25億個，2020年為2.58億個。
總體而言，預計2022年約有2.07億人失業。不過，報告稱，影響或遠大于預估，因許多人退出勞動力大軍，還沒有回來。
胡塞武裝對阿聯酋發動襲擊
獲伊朗支持的也門武裝分子對阿聯酋發動了無人機襲擊，引發爆炸，並在其首都阿布紮比附近引起火災，導致人員傷亡。當前正值關鍵時刻，此次襲擊令這一主要原油出口地區安全風險升級。
周一的事件是阿聯酋領土上迄今規模最大的襲擊事件之一，阿布紮比主要的國際機場發生火情，臨近工業區的油罐車被點燃。幾天前，也門胡塞武裝警告阿布紮比，不要對其加大空襲。
阿聯酋總統顧問Anwar Gargash表示，此次襲擊的背後是胡塞武裝，但是他們“太弱了，無法影響國家的安全與穩定”。
然而，伊朗長期以來支持胡塞武裝，意味著此次的事件可能破壞旨在緩解波斯灣緊張局勢的外交努力，可能也會影響德黑蘭與大國之間重啓2015年核協議的會談。迪拜和阿布紮比股市回吐了襲擊發生前的漲幅。
