風險情緒持續改善施壓金價，關注二季度GDP及初請
周四（8月26日）亞洲時段，現貨黃金持穩于1791附近。周三（8月25日）金價小幅下跌，市場的風險情緒在FDA批準了輝瑞/BioNTech新冠疫苗的全面使用授權之後持續改善，這給金價帶來下行壓力，不過，疫情以及美聯儲提前縮減QE的擔憂消退支撐了金價。
標普500和納指再創紀錄收盤新高
美股周三再度上漲，芯片制造商和金融股幫助標普500指數和納斯達克指數收于紀錄新高，投資者期待即將舉行的傑克森霍爾研討會，以確認美聯儲收緊政策的時間表仍未改變。
道指升0.11%，標普500指數漲0.22%，納指升0.15%，因幾乎沒有什麽負面因素削弱風險人氣。
大田環球分析師說：“疫苗獲得批準的正面消息，美聯儲不會在傑克森霍爾會議上令市場感到震驚的預期，幫助股市維持漲勢，這是一個非常安靜的市場，許多投資者本周在沙灘上度假。”
標普500指數錄得今年以來第51個紀錄收盤新高。但接受調查的分析師預計，股市在2021年剩余時間內將維持區間震蕩，標普500指數今年收盤時基本持平，因疫情複蘇以及企業盈利增長失去動力。
他補充稱：“在經曆了一輪長期走勢後，股指漲勢已經降溫，因為下一個增長引擎尚不明確，財政和貨幣刺激可能已經失去了推動市場進一步走高的動力。”
美國7月商業設備訂單意外停止增長
在連續四個月增長後，美國工廠接到的商業設備訂單意外在7月份停止增長，表明數月來的資本投資陷入停頓。
美國商務部周三公布的數據顯示，7月核心資本品訂單基本持平，前月上修為增長1%。該指數扣除了飛機和國防用品，被視為商業設備投資晴雨表。耐用品訂單環比下降0.1%，反映出商用飛機訂單減少。
調查顯示，分析師預估中值為核心資本品訂單增長0.5%，總體耐用品訂單下降0.3%。
設備支出是2020年中以來重要的經濟增長助力。消費者支出回升加之庫存較低，提振了工業品需求，不過原材料和勞動力等産能限制對生産速度構成持續障礙。
