市場觀察貿易形勢進展，金價收斂波動

11月4日，現貨黃金波動幅度不大，在震盪區間活躍，美元指數則從低位開始反彈。目前市場仍在觀察貿易形勢的金蟬，同時等待歐洲央行新任行長拉加德的講話。如果歐元區能加大財政刺激，則可以明顯降低避險情緒。
10月中旬，國際貨幣基金組織(IMF)將全球經濟增速預估調降至2008-2009年金融危機以來最慢，並歸咎於由美國總統特朗普挑起的貿易紛爭。這場紛爭目前處於緩和狀態，雙方正在設法完成“第一階段”協議。
上週末，美國總統特朗普表示他可能會邀請中方領導人到艾奧瓦州簽署經貿協議。中國外交部對此回應稱，習近平主席同特朗普總統一直通過各種方式保持著聯繫。
美元之前受投資者青睞長達數月時間，歸因於美國相對較高的利率以及經濟基本面相對其他發達國家較好，以及貿易形勢不確定性。但隨著貿易形勢好轉預期明朗，最近美元指數回落。
美聯儲上周進行了年內第三次、也是連續第三次降息，但決策者在政策會議結束時幾乎明確宣告降息已暫告一段落。
上周五(11月1日)，美元試圖借助10月美國非農就業數據優於預期之機上攻，但由於隨後公佈的10月ISM製造業PMI數據疲軟而未能守住漲勢，曾一度低見97.160，逼近兩周前錄得的7月22日以來低位97.144；金價則探底回升，波動幅度近13美元。
歐洲央行新任行長拉加德將在週一發表上任後的首次講話。市場認為，拉加德將持比較平衡的立場，在重申寬鬆貨幣政策的必要性同時，也會強調有需要注意的副作用。
歐洲央行(ECB)9月調降利率後重啟了2.6萬億歐元的債券購買計畫。當時，投資者押注明年3月之前還會再降息兩次，但隨著該央行內部對於未來利率路徑的分歧浮現，投資者降低了對降息的預期。
剛剛把歐洲央行行長之位交給拉加德的德拉基在發表告別講話時承認，由於經濟中的投資回報下降，負利率提供的刺激作用不如以前。
進一步降低目前已為負0.5%的存款利率能帶來什麼經濟效益深受投資者懷疑，而擴大資產購買力度又面臨內部一些成員國的強大阻力。如果能說服歐元區各國領導人加大財政刺激，不失為化解市場擔憂的良藥，避險情緒也有望下降。
