歐元兌美元有所跳升，創下近幾周的新高點，同時投資者對全球貿易環境取得突破性進展而出現樂觀預期，加上英國有序脫歐的預期帶動英鎊短線大漲，但歐盟峰會即將展開，脫歐能否順利進行仍有一定疑慮。
歐洲理事會主席圖斯克稱，英國仍然沒有提出實際可行的脫歐建議，已經告知詹森，如果今天沒有切實可行的提議，將在宣佈峰會上沒有達成協議的機會。不過隨後表示在昨天與詹森會面後，收到了愛爾蘭總理許諾的簽約信，達成協議仍然是可能的。英鎊兌美元短線飆升50點至1.2505，短線暴瀉近90點至1.2409後再度轉漲，刷新7月2日以來新高1.2685，目前回吐部分漲幅，交投於1.2617附近。
國際貿易局勢方面的消息也需留意。據歐聯網援引歐聯通訊社報導，美國此前獲世界貿易組織(WTO)批准，將對歐盟75億美元商品加征關稅，對此，法國財長布魯諾·勒梅爾10日說，如果達不成和解，歐洲將採取關稅報復措施，徵稅目標是120億美元。
北京時間週六(10月12日)01:15，2019年FOMC票委、波士頓聯儲主席羅森葛籣將在一場有關美國經濟挑戰的座談會上發表講話。在本周美聯儲公佈的9月會議紀要立場偏鴿，令市場對其年內再度降息的預期升溫後，關注“超級鴿派”羅森葛籣是否進一步釋放寬鬆信號，若預期兌現，歐元有望上行。
歐洲央行方面，行長德拉基表示，歐洲央行注意到特定領域面臨不利影響，政策制定者所處環境存在重大不確定性。歐元區更加積極的財政政策將使我們能夠更快地調整我們的政策。
