美國PMI資料遠低預期，金價跳升

10月1日，現美國公佈了9月PMI俗製造業資料，資料顯示遠低於市場預期，在資料公佈後，現貨黃金短線跳升，日內波動由跌轉漲，而美元指數則短線下挫，非美貨幣得到不同程度的回升。
具體資料顯示，美國9月ISM製造業PMI實際公佈47.80，預期50.5，前值49.1。美國9月ISM製造業PMI錄得2009年6月以來最低水準。
其中分項，美國9月ISM製造業就業指數實際公佈46.30，前值47.4。分析師認為就業分項表現不及前值也可能預示本周非農就業資料表現不佳。
市場分析指出，美國8月建築支出幾乎沒有增加，因非住宅項目支出連續第二個月下降，抵消了9個月來最大的私人住宅投資增長。私人住宅項目支出則躍升0.9%，為2018年11月以來的最大增幅，此前7月份增長0.6%。
美國供應管理協會ISM稱，全球貿易局勢仍是最重要的問題，當前商業信心的持續下降。從2019年7月開始的新出口訂單收縮就證明了這一點。總體而言，本月的人氣對近期增長仍持謹慎態度。
分析表示，近期經濟出現惡化的一個關鍵因素是，以貿易為主導的製造業放緩，且走弱趨勢進一步蔓延到服務業。分析認為，企業仍在擔憂貿易和經濟前景不確定性帶來的不利因素。雖然製造業逆風有所緩解帶來一線曙光，但工業環境依然是2009年以來最嚴峻局面之一。
調查顯示，由於企業風險厭惡情緒增加，企業員工數量自2010年1月以來首次下降，且削減成本意願增加。同時，價格壓力有所緩解，當月商品和服務投入成本和平均售價再次下滑，顯示出10年來最弱的通脹環境。
此外剛剛美國公佈的9月Markit製造業PMI終值 預期。具體資料顯示，美國9月Markit製造業PMI終值實際公佈51.10，預期51，前值51。
與ISM製造業PMI同時公佈的，還有營建支出資料，具體資料顯示，美國8月營建支出月率實際公佈0.1%，預期0.5%，前值0.1%。
