美國物價指數符合預期，金價維持穩定

8月30日，美國公佈了眾多重要經濟資料，其中美國7月的PCE資料也隨之公佈，資料結果符合市場預期，現貨黃金維持目前的穩定。同時還有加拿大的6月GDP資料，資料超出預期，美元兌加短線下挫。
美國7月物價指數受到家庭購買量擴大的影響而增長穩健。這進一步緩和了市場對經濟衰退的擔憂，但消費增速的幅度可能不會持續，由於收入增速溫和。消費支出，在美國經濟活動中的占比超過三分之二，8月增長幅度僅為0.6%。在政府1.5萬億的減稅支出刺激消退後，美國經濟增速就大幅放緩，第二季度商業投資和製造業都在第二季度受到嚴重拖累。這一定程度上影響了消費層面的發展。
分析指出，現在消費支出的增長使得經濟得以維持現狀，但製造業卻似乎將進一步萎縮。最令人表示擔憂的是，美聯儲試圖在沒有實現實際收入相應增長的情況下，進一步寬鬆以提升通脹。
分析認為，目前推動市場人氣的是經濟活動前景。由於貿易緊張加劇、全球經濟活動走弱和美元走強，美國經濟即將陷入低迷。這將在中期緩解物價壓力，並給美聯儲大幅降息的空間——市場預計，未來18個月，美聯儲將降息四次，每次25個基點。
然而，有可能出現更積極的經濟前景。強勁的就業市場和不斷上升的實際工資增長，使消費者支出保持強勁。在今年晚些時候可能達成更持久的貿易緩和之前，這可能有助於抵消其它地區的疲軟。
與美國資料同時公佈還有加拿大的6月GDP資料，匯通財經APP資料顯示，加拿大6月季調後GDP月率實際公佈0.2%，預期0.1%，前值0.2%；加拿大6月季調後GDP年率實際公佈1.5%，預期1.4%，前值1.4%。
對於下周9月4日加拿大央行決議，分析師指出，屆時，加拿大央行需要在經濟成長展望中加入對最近關稅大戰的考量，並可能為隨後一個月降息打下基礎，這對今年以來G10貨幣中表現僅次於日元的加元而言，可謂前景不妙。
與大多數G10國家同行不同，加拿大央行還沒有暗示準備放鬆政策–但我們認為這種轉變很快就會到來。作為一個大宗商品部門佔據重要地位的開放型經濟體，全球經濟成長進一步疲軟最終都會對加拿大經濟產出構成壓力
