金價有所回落，但經濟衰退擔憂仍在

8月29日，現貨黃金有所回落，全球貿易局勢的緩和施壓金價回落，而全球央行降息預期下降也會施壓金價。但市場對經濟衰退的擔憂仍在支撐金價，同時美國二季度的GDP數據符合市場預期，對市場的影響有限。
商務部新聞發言人高峰稱，在很多領域，中美兩國企業在產業鏈中有相互依存關係，打壓中國企業最終受損的會是美國企業，希望美方儘快取消對華為等中企制裁措施。
此外，日韓貿易方面，韓國將加大財政刺激力度，這也支撐市場風險偏好。週四韓國提出明年大幅增加財政預算，顯示將加大財政刺激力度，以解決圍繞這個亞洲第四大經濟體放緩的擔憂。
分析師認為，隨著全球經濟進入他所說的長期債務週期的後期階段，各國央行扭轉經濟衰退的能力正在走向終結，利率如此之低，以至於將它們降低到足以刺激增長的水準並不奏效。
美聯儲方面，市場對美聯儲降息速度的預期有所減弱。市場已經充分消化了9月降息25基點的可能性，並認為美聯儲不太可能會加速降息。
歐洲央行方面，市場對歐洲央行大幅度降息的預期也減弱。雖然不少投行都預測歐洲央行9月份實行降息，但是其內部成員卻持有不同的看法。歐洲央行管委暗示，該行無需按照市場預期行事。
倒掛仍是美債收益率曲線的一個顯著特徵，這是一個令人不安的跡象，之前一直是美國未來出現經濟衰退的可靠領先指標。
市場當前的形勢就像是暴風雨前的平靜，尚未完全脫險。標普500指數完全有可能進一步升至2950高位，雖然這聽起是在看漲股市，但波動率指數（VIX）也可能飆升至28或30的水準，這意味著股市可能只是進行短暫的反彈。他警告稱，如果美聯儲不能遏制經濟衰退的到來，股市將會持續下跌。
週四市場最為關注的還是美國二季度實際GDP的修正值符合預期，而其中分項二季度核心PCE物價指數小幅下修。其他美國數據初請數據符合預期，批發庫存月率符合預期。
分析師指出，由於出口下降和企業投資低迷，美國經濟春季增速比最初的報告明顯更慢。雖然公司獲得了還比較可觀的收入，但前景仍非常暗淡。此次官方將第二季度實際GDP從2.1%修正為2%。
