金價反彈，避險主角仍是美元，貿易鬥爭依舊激烈

5月30日，國際金價刷新低點，原因在於市場認為貿易爭端可能打擊全球經濟增長，市場看好美元的避險作用。不過隨後金價地位反彈，中國表示美國挑起的貿易爭端如同“經濟恐怖主義”，此外歐元區面臨新的不確定性，也支撐了美元。
中美貿易戰沒有很快結束的跡象，北京的言辭越來越強烈。中國外交部副部長張漢暉週四表示，蓄意挑起貿易爭端形同“赤裸裸的經濟恐怖主義”。
中國駐法國大使翟雋在法國主流媒體《回聲報》發表題為《維護多邊主義需要勇氣和決心》的署名文章指出，中美貿易摩擦影響波及全球，但中國不會放棄核心利益，如果(美國)一定要打，中方將奉陪到底。
中國商務部新聞發言人高峰在週四的例行發佈會上稱，中國秉持開放態度推動稀土產業的發展，但任何國家想利用中國出口的稀土所製造的產品遏制和打壓中國的發展，於情於理都難以接受。
美國國務卿蓬佩奧昨日稱，美國企業與政府的合作遵循美法律，但中國的情況完全不同。華為是中國政府的工具，二者聯繫緊密。美國務院發言人昨日對記者稱，美出臺“國防授權法案”禁止美行政機構使用華為設備，是基於一定證據的。
IMF近日發佈的研究報告稱，中美貿易緊張局勢導致中美貿易減少，但雙邊的貿易逆差的基本情況沒有變化，因關稅上漲造成的成本幾乎全部由美國企業承擔了。
已經有越來越多的美國企業、消費者感受到加征關稅的影響。紐約聯儲經濟學家最近的預測表明，美方加征關稅措施將使每個美國家庭每年平均損失831美元。
美國上個月的零售銷售也很疲軟，房地產市場繼續掙扎。增長放緩在很大程度上反映了特朗普政府去年大幅減稅和增加支出的刺激效果逐漸減弱。貿易爭端也損害了經濟。
如果美國繼續現行做法，會導致美國的GDP增速下滑、就業和投資減少、國內物價上升，美國商品在海外的競爭力下降，進而降低美元在全球商貿流通中的需求。
歐盟週三致信義大利政府，要求其解釋公共財政惡化原因。這封信是一個程式性步驟，可為下周歐盟執行機構對羅馬方面採取紀律措施鋪平道路。義大利政府必須在本周之前回復這封信。這可能導致其與義大利的疑歐派執政聯盟發生法律衝突。
目前正在討論的一個想法是，通過實施分級存款利率，允許銀行在歐洲央行持有的部分現金存款不受負利率的影響。但分級存款利率似乎沒有得到政策制定者的廣泛支持，這也是歐元區金融穩定面臨的一大風險，歐元也因此承受賣壓。
