分析師表示，目前有幾大地緣政治風險意味著投資者應當持有一些黃金。對美國總統特朗普來說，“通俄門”遠未結束。雖然特朗普真的被彈劾的可能並不大，但這都帶來了巨大的不確定性。

黃金作為已經存在了幾千年的避險保值資產往往在這種情況下最能凸顯其作用。如果美國經濟受到貿易爭端等因素的影響而走弱，那麼美聯儲今年可能會降息，這對黃金是利好的。
