關稅影響經濟增長，市場預計降息三次

美聯儲官員表示，美聯儲正在接近其政策目標，美國經濟處於向好發展趨勢，足以應對市場挑戰。同時市場美聯儲也在觀察消費者和商業信心疲軟的跡象，市場上的一些經濟放緩現象已經明顯減少。
美聯儲堅持依賴數據的準則，持續評估形勢，對當前情況注重保持經濟擴張，通脹率為2%，需要讓通脹回到並且持穩於2%的水準。在其讓通脹縮小前，已經下調中性失業率的預期 。
此外，在貿易局勢方面，據央視報導，近日，代表美國150多家行業協會的貿易組織“關稅傷害美國腹地”發表聲明，強烈反對“對中國輸美商品加征關稅”。該組織指出，關稅是由購買中國產品的美國進口商支付給美國海關的費用；加征關稅只會懲罰美國農民、企業和消費者。
受到貿易震盪的影響，美元承壓下行，本週一（5月15日）美元指數觸及四周最低水準，逼近97大關。但一些分析師認為，在避險走高的情況下，美元會走強。
分析師表示，市場本來預期的是“金髮姑娘市場”，但很顯然這種預期是錯的；在這種情況下，做多美元兌阿根廷比索或者美元兌土耳其里拉等新興市場貨幣。
市場波動也在大幅升高，摩根大通全球外匯波動指數上周大漲16%。而本週一“恐慌指數”VIX也大幅上升，漲幅近30%；儘管在市場對美聯儲降息預期越來越大的情況下，美元指數似乎有觸頂的跡象，但在市場有濃厚避險情緒的情況下，分析師們認為美元會受到提振。
本周以來因市場風險情緒的快速升溫，黃金市場受益，而市場對美聯儲政策的走向預期也出現了一些變化；目前從聯邦基金期貨來看，今年年末利率可能降至2.075%，較目前的聯邦基金利率水準低了差不多25個基點。這表明了市場已經計入年末美聯儲降息的可能。
而從歐洲美元期權市場的表現來看，市場甚至預計今年可能有三次25個基點的降息，在貿易風險為市場帶來大量不確定因素的情況下，市場對美國經濟增長面臨極大困境有所預期，並且認為衰退到來的可能性增加； 另外，美國債券收益率也受到影響，本週一2年期美國國債收益率逼近此前在三月觸及的今年低點。
