美對華築起貿易壁壘，金價上升力度不夠

5月10日，受到中美貿易緊張局勢升級帶來的影響，金價受到支撐。之前美國總統特朗普上調2000億美元中國輸美國商品的關稅措施生效，金價有望出現漲幅。但是日元和瑞郎等其他避險資產上漲趨勢更強，金價漲幅受制，金價要更多上漲需要市場的更大疲態。
現貨黃金本周以來上漲了約0.4%。金價上週末跌至去年12月底以來新低的1266.35美元，但此後已上漲近1.4%。
中美兩國高級貿易談判官員週四結束了首日磋商。本輪談判預計持續兩天，以挽救一項接近流產的貿易協議。
但美國總統特朗普對價值2000億美元中國輸美商品加征關稅的措施，已於週五生效，北京方面表示將不得不採取反制措施。這在中美貿易協議關鍵談判進行之際，升高了雙方的緊繃關係。
儘管市場整體避險情緒彌漫，但金價漲幅受抑，而日元和瑞郎等其他避險資產漲勢更盛。在特朗普政府提高中國進口商品關稅計畫生效前幾個小時，亞洲股市週五從兩個月低點小幅上漲。
分析師稱：“貿易談判的很多(影響)都已消化，對金價而言，要實現更可持續的上漲，還需要看到(整體金融)市場呈現更多疲態。”
蘇丹當局調查可能的走私活動。該國快速支援部隊於週四在首都喀土穆降落的一架飛機上查獲了241公斤黃金。
南非統計局表示，3月份南非的黃金產量同比下降17.7%，跌幅較2月份的20.6%有所收窄。
