英鎊持續震盪，原因是脫歐的不確定

5月2日，英國央行行長強調了脫歐的不確定性對企業的負面作用，但市場通脹預期下降時因為能源壓力。同時目前的利率曲線對加息來說，預期還不是很足。目前英鎊兌美元在下跌後有重新上漲。
稍早前，英國央行維持利率不變，上調未來三年增長預期，但下調今明兩年通脹預期，英鎊短線劇震50點，相對高點和低點分別觸及1.3076和1.3026。
分析師稱，我們正討論減少貨幣刺激，在當前利率曲線中，加息預期是不足的。如果增長超過預期，或者英國有序脫歐，將需要加息。且若預測正確，那麼需要的加息次數將高於市場預期。
企業正關注短期內的脫歐計畫，已經為脫歐做了最大努力，但恐怕仍舊不夠。如果出現硬脫歐，增長會明顯下降。脫歐的不確定性提高了商業投資的最低預期回報率。
英國首相特雷莎·梅上個月確定了10月31日的新脫歐期限，給英國央行決策官員本周對經濟進行更全面評估提供了空間。此前梅政府未能在3月29日的最初脫歐日期前得到國會對其脫歐協議的支持。
儘管面臨脫歐不確定性，讓企業和消費者感到悲觀，但從某些方面來看，英國經濟似乎已經對全球金融危機以來的第三次升息做好了準備。英國失業率處於44年低點、薪資增速為10年來最快，且消費者支出仍然穩健。
分析師道：“未來數月升息的可能性仍非常低，但並沒有如市場預期得那麼低。目前市場預期2019年底前升息25個基點的機率不到30%。我認為，這有點過於掉以輕心了。”
英國是全球第五大經濟體，自從2016年公投決定脫歐後，經濟增長一直步履蹣跚，遠早於去年開始的全球經濟放緩。
在英國央行目前不太可能採取行動的情況下，外界將從該央行的經濟預估更新中，尋找議會通過脫歐協議前央行可能考慮升息的蛛絲馬跡。
不同於歐洲央行和美聯儲，英國央行認為有理由繼續收緊政策和有限、逐步升息。但金融市場認為英國央行今年行動的可能性只有35%，甚至仍有許多分析師認為，明年年底前都不會升息，主要歸因於英國脫歐的不確定性。
