加拿大貿易帳向好，黃金繼續承壓

4月17日，加拿大2月貿易帳好於市場預期，美元有所下跌，但隨後反彈上漲。同時美國2月貿易赤字收窄，美元指數一度下跌。而現貨黃金受到市場經濟數據影響，持續下跌，短期內沒有反彈的趨勢。
具體數據顯示，加拿大3月CPI年率為1.9%，與預期相符，前值為1.5%；加拿大3月核心CPI年率也同樣在1.9%，相較於前值的2%小幅走低。
經季節因素調整的月度CPI繼2月份上漲0.4%之後，3月份上漲0.3%。加拿大央行剔除食品和能源價格波動因素的核心CPI 3月份環比和環比分別為0.3%和1.6%，均略高於市場預期。
市場消息稱，加拿大2月原油總出口量減少30萬桶/日至343萬桶/日，2月總原油進口量減少1000桶/日至63.2萬桶/日，2月自美國進口的原油增加9.9萬桶/日至53.5萬桶/日，2月出口美國的原油總量減少34萬桶/日至334萬桶/日。
目前分析人士預期為增加100.0萬桶，料錄得連續第四周增加。近期美國原油庫存持續走高，原油進口增加，出口下降，這意味著淨進口大幅增加。原油加工繼續低於正常水準，所有這些都促成了庫存的大量增加。
與此同時，美國2月貿易赤字收窄至8個月以來最窄。數據顯示，該國2月貿易帳下滑494億美元，好於預期的下滑534億美元，前值為下滑511億美元。
美國貿易赤字創2018年6月以來新低，向中國的出口大漲，超過了整體進口量的反彈程度，這也使得第一季度經濟增速預期提高。受到與各地貿易緊張情緒的影響，美國貿易數據近幾個月的波動行較大。
市場對第一季度經濟增速預期年率在1.5%-2.3%區間，很大程度反映出在國內需求放緩的過程中庫存的累積情況。儘管汽車出口2月增長了6億美元，但由於波音737 MAX墜機事故影響，商用飛機出口可能會出現下降。
近期一些經濟數據的表現使得市場情緒有所改善，並且市場對貿易爭端的解決也變得更樂觀，對作為避險資產的黃金而言，這不是好消息。
現貨黃金當前位於1276.33美元/盎司，日內震盪微跌0.04%。市場對貿易爭端解決的預期，以及經濟數據向好推動了二季度以來風險情緒回升。黃金短期可能有進一步回落需求，目前SPDR黃金ETF的持有量降至近六個月最低水準。
