美國9月非農大幅不及預期，FED決策難度陡增
北京時間周五(10月8日)20:30，美國9月非農就業報告出爐，表現大幅不及預期，加大了美聯儲之後的政策取向難度，現貨黃金跳漲13美元。具體數據顯示，美國9月新增非農就業人口19.40萬，遠不及預期的新增50萬，前值從增加23.5萬上修至增加36.6萬；美國9月失業率較前值下跌0.4個百分點至4.80%，也大幅低于預期的5.10%。
三季度經濟減速
谘商會(Conference Board)上周公布的一項調查顯示，消費者對當前就業市場狀況的看法有所軟化。美國供應管理協會(ISM)制造業就業指標上個月反彈，但服務業就業指標下滑。
亞特蘭大聯儲估計，7-9月當季經濟環比年率將放緩至增長1.3%。第二季為增長6.7%。經濟在第三季度減速，部分原因是夏季新冠病例激增、來自政府的疫情救濟資金流減弱以及原材料短缺，這打擊了汽車銷售。
勞工短缺短缺依
勞動力市場和整體經濟仍受制于疫情造成的人工短缺。截至7月底，美國職位空缺達到創紀錄的1090萬個，連續第五個月創下曆史新高，顯示出美國勞動力市場的進一步失衡。
在一份題為“大減員”的報告中，管理咨詢公司麥肯錫指出，正要辭職或考慮辭職的員工人數創下新高，自今年4月以來，已有超過1500萬美國勞工曾離職。
荷蘭國際集團(ING)駐紐約首席國際經濟學家James Knightley表示：“新冠疫情的傳播再次開始減弱……但就業市場仍明顯緊張，勞動力供應仍然非常受限。”
企業和共和黨人指責擴大後的福利措施是造成勞工短缺的原因。這些福利措施為沒有資格領取常規失業救濟金的人提供失業支票。聯邦政府提供的福利措施于9月初到期，受影響人數超過600萬。
但許多失業者似乎已經把部分救助金存了起來，因此並不急于開始找工作。一些分析師稱，得益于股市強勁且房價漲勢創紀錄，家庭財富大增，很大一部分人選擇提前退出勞動力市場。
大田環球分析師稱，非農報告表明，失業金救助帶來的福利並不是一些人所說的讓人們遠離就業市場的強大力量。當然，自2020年春季以來，由于聯邦政府的支持，家庭仍然收獲了大量現金，因此政治爭論這回事不會消失。
美國的勞動力短缺情況正在影響衆多的産業。無論是藍領還是白領的工作崗位，公司們都表示現在很難招到合適的員工，招聘周期更長，求職者要求的薪資更高，這對公司的生産效率和管理成本都帶來了更大的挑戰。
經濟合作暨發展組織(OECD)上個月說：“只有當工資通脹大幅上升時，才可能出現疫情前由低利率造成的通脹持續上揚。”經合組織認為總的工資壓力仍然是溫和的，但它確實注意到美國休閑和酒店業等最近重新開放的 “接觸密集型”行業等領域的工資出現大幅上漲。
