供應瓶頸推升通脹，供給側拖累美國經濟

高通脹時間超出鮑威爾預期
上周美聯儲主席鮑威爾表示，美國經濟前景高度不確定，在聯邦政府一系列政策的救助之下，美國雖然已經獲得強勁的需求，但是供給側仍在拖美國經濟的後腿。鮑威爾認為新冠肺炎德爾塔變異毒株在最近數月不斷為經濟復蘇取得進展造成阻礙，預料隨著供應瓶頸問題得到控制或趨於緩和，通脹將出現回落，鮑威爾坦承供應瓶頸問題對通脹的推升時間超過了他原來的想像。
歐元區仍未脫離疫情困境
歐洲央行行長拉加德稱，目前歐元區正從邊緣狀態回歸，但尚未擺脫新冠肺炎流行病疫情所造成的困境。拉加德預期歐元區將在2021年年底時恢復至新冠肺炎流行病疫情之前的狀態，不過在部分地區供應瓶頸正在惡化，目前不確定性對歐元區經濟增長構成威脅。
