美元走軟且日元下跌，關注美聯儲未來講話
周三(8月25日)美元指數下跌0.06%，至92.82；美國10年期國債收益率攀升至1.35%附近，為近兩周來的最高水平；投資人等待美聯儲在本周的傑克遜霍爾研討會上提供有關縮減經濟支持措施的線索。
美元指數衝高回落
美元周三變動不大，風險情緒在FDA批準了輝瑞/BioNTech新冠疫苗的全面使用授權之後持續改善，這對避險美元造成一定的打擊。
美國首席傳染病專家福奇周二表示，“美國有可能在明年初控制住新冠疫情。”但焦點已轉向傑克森霍爾，以及美聯儲主席鮑威爾周五講話時可能就縮減購債刺激計劃說些什麽。
大田環球分析師表示，市場預計鮑威爾的講話基調將會偏鴿派，並呼應達拉斯聯儲主席卡普蘭上周的擔憂。卡普蘭表示，由于Delta變種病毒的傳播，他可能會重新考慮開始縮減購債的時機。
他說，“風險在于，如果鮑威爾真的沒說什麽太大不同的話，但由于沒有對卡普蘭表示支持，那麽給人的印象就是更偏鷹派。”
日本擴大疫情緊急狀態範圍，覆蓋全國逾70%人口
隨著德爾塔病毒變種導致新增病例創紀錄、給醫療系統帶來巨大壓力，日本首相菅義偉將疫情緊急狀態擴大到另外八個地區，總共覆蓋超過70%的日本人口。
菅義偉周三表示，包括北海道、愛知縣在內的八個地區將從周五開始處于緊急狀態，直到9月12日。等到這份命令生效，日本將有21個地區處于疫情緊急狀態，包括東京和大阪，占日本經濟的79%。
菅義偉在新聞發布會上說：“在大多數地區，我們看到新病例空前激增，高傳染性的德爾塔變種正在蔓延，變得更難控制。”
目前日本正在舉辦殘奧會，且菅義偉所在的自民黨預計下個月選舉領導人。公衆對菅義偉的支持率已降至紀錄低點，如果疫情管理出現重大失策導致自民黨的支持率受損、公衆情緒進一步惡化，那他有可能成為又一位短命首相——而日本必須在11月底之前舉行大選。
前美聯儲主席伯南克預計通脹將在2022年放緩
前美聯儲主席伯南克在參加巴西一家投資銀行的在線活動上表示，廣泛的通脹預期仍然受控，供應衝擊將是暫時的，消費者價格漲幅將在2022年趨緩。
伯南克表示，現任美聯儲主席鮑威爾做的非常出色，在整個疫情期間的工作一直“非常積極有效”。
隨著人們重新思考職業和生活，就業市場存在失配。美國針對疫情的財政和貨幣措施強勁有力，支持了經濟超預期複蘇。
