華爾街力挺黃金,利好或支撐金價突破1900?

華爾街力挺黃金,利好或支撐金價突破1900?周一(5月17日)亞洲時段,現貨黃金持穩于1845附近。上周五(5月14日)美國的零售銷售和消費者信心指數均不及預期,導致美元和美債收益率雙雙下滑,這對金價構成有力的支撐。另外,美聯儲官員的講話、巴以衝突、比特幣近期的暴跌以及亞洲疫情的不斷惡化都成為黃金上漲的利多因素。與此同時,股市的強勁限制了金價的漲勢。

美國4月零售銷售遜于預期

美國零售銷售繼3月份隨纾困支票發放而大幅增長後,在4月份持平于前月。

美國商務部周五公布的數據顯示,4月整體零售額環比基本持平,3月上修為增長10.7%。調查顯示,經濟學家預估中值為4月增長1%。4月零售總額為創紀錄的6199億美元,支持了經濟學家對今年年內家庭支出將保持強勁的預測。

隨著對新冠疫情的擔憂消退,消費者支出可能開始更多轉向娛樂和旅行等服務,同時,財政刺激措施帶來的儲蓄應該有助于支撐零售需求。

大田環球分析師認為,這份數據對那些認為美聯儲就要緊縮貨幣政策的人潑了冷水。

巴以衝突進入第二周

盡管聯合國安理會開會討論了巴以暴力衝突,國際社會的停火呼聲越來越高,但以色列與哈馬斯之間的武裝對抗進入第二周,多年來最嚴重的敵對狀態並沒有短期內中止的任何迹象。

以色列周日空襲加沙,損壞了數棟房屋,衛生官員稱空襲造成42名巴勒斯坦人死亡,其中包括10名兒童。巴勒斯坦武裝組織則向以色列發射火箭彈。

不過巴以衝突對市場影響有限,市場參與人士普遍認為,只要這場衝突不蔓延到中東地區産油國,其對全球經濟造成的風險將是可控的,黃金很難因此走出單邊上漲行情。
