美國副總統候選人辯論於北京時間週四9:00舉行，針對特朗普政府的抗疫表現、經濟政策、執法及種族關係，現任副總統彭斯與民主黨挑戰者哈裏斯在辯論會上交鋒激辯。沒有任何一方在這場辯論明顯勝出，市場波瀾不驚。
上周特朗普與拜登的首場辯論結束之後，多數選民認為那場辯論很讓人倒胃口。特朗普本周又叫停了就新疫情救濟案進行的談判，澆滅了自己在大選前贏得一場立法勝利的希望，並推升美元指數大幅反彈。
就目前的形勢看，若拜登能夠入主白宮，並且民主黨同時控制參、眾兩院，那麼美國通過新的刺激措施將不會有任何政策阻礙，美元將會進一步走低，並幫助黃金開啟新一輪漲勢。否則，任何一個變數出現不同結果，就會帶來許多不確定性。
