美國房市數據不佳，黃金維持日內低點

9月17日，美國的8月房地產數據結果不及市場預期，此外美國還公佈了當周初請失業金的數據，數據結果符合市場預期，在數據公佈後，現貨黃金維持在日內低位附近，但目前市場仍需較多資訊判斷方向。
具體數據顯示，美國8月新屋開工年化月率實際公佈-5.10，預期-0.9，前值22.6；美國8月新屋開工年化總數實際公佈141.60萬戶；預期148.3萬戶，前值149.6萬戶；
美國8月營建許可月率實際公佈-0.90%；預期2.0%，前值18.8%；美國8月營建許可總數實際公佈147萬戶，預期151.2萬戶，前值149.5萬戶。
雖然8月數據不及預期，但美國房地產市場強勁。有分析人士指出，今年五月末以來，原本預期中可能會持續低迷的房地產市場突然火爆，大量購房客從各地打來諮詢電話，排隊買房、不看房子就付錢。
分析表示，在買家源源不斷湧入的同時，賣家顧忌疫情影響、美元指數走弱等諸多因素表現出了明顯的惜售情緒，不少賣家都撤銷了原本賣房的決定，也就是說，在相當長的一段時間裏，我們不認為供給量緊張的情況會有所放緩。
美國截至9月12日當周初請失業金人數實際公佈86萬，預期85萬，前值88.4萬；美國截至9月5日當周續請失業金人數1262.80萬，預期1300萬，前值1338.5萬。
初請失業金人數比預期差，就持續申請失業救濟人數而言，這一數字高於預期，仍處於高位。這一系列的趨勢仍然是負面的。
本月早些時候，美國勞工部公佈的8月份非農就業報告強於預期。報告顯示，8月份的非農就業崗位增加了130多萬個，失業率下降至8.4％。然而，這份報告仍然顯示，自新冠病毒大流行開始以來，總失業人數超過1100萬人，單靠一份好於預期的就業報告並不能改變已在短短幾個月內發生了深刻改變的就業狀況。
政策制定者們還沒有推出新的財政刺激方案，給美國經濟和勞動力市場帶來了下行風險。美聯儲主席鮑威爾在剛剛結束的政策會議上指出，很明顯勞動力市場離充分就業還有很長的距離。
