國際貨幣基金組織(IMF)首席經濟學家戈皮納特(Gita Gopinath)週一表示，政府政策制定者將需要實施“大量”有針對性的財政、貨幣和金融市場措施，以緩解迅速擴散的新冠病毒疫情對經濟的影響。
目前來說貨幣政策可能並不特別有效，因全球公共衛生事件遏制人們出行和社交，較低的借貸成本不太可能刺激消費，整個市場情緒仍將維持避險主基調，黃金這一類非孳息資產繼續受到追捧。
