全球貿易緊張局勢激發避險，金價飆升

現貨黃金延續攀升趨勢，飆升近20美元，在全球貿易緊張局勢的影響下，金價得到支撐，同時股市下跌，特朗普炮轟美聯儲，美國製造業數據疲弱等因素進一步支撐金價，但目前英國大選的樂觀情緒對金價上漲構成了一定的阻力。
兩大國的貿易談判仍然是影響全球市場風險偏好情緒的主要因素，而現在市場依然存在很大的不確定性。日內的一些傳言，又打壓了市場風險偏好情緒，給避險金價帶來支撐。
當地時間12月2日，美國貿易代表辦公室發佈針對法國數字服務稅發起的調查結論——美國將採取行動反制法國數字稅，威脅稱可能對價值約24億美元的法國產品徵收新關稅，最高稅率將達100%。
具體而言，美國貿易代表辦公室表示，擬議對法國徵收關稅的產品清單包括63個關稅“小標題”(tariff subheadings)，貿易總額約為24億美元。“今日俄羅斯”(RT)補充稱，美國貿易代表辦公室還表示，徵收的新關稅可能涉及手袋、起泡酒、乳酪、化妝品和其他家居用品。
美國總統特朗普2日表示，美國將立即“恢復”對從巴西和阿根廷進口的鋼鋁產品加征關稅。
特朗普早就在抱怨美元太強，並敦促美聯儲打破幾十年來的先例，採取讓美元貶值的行動。儘管尚未發生貨幣戰爭，但特朗普週一的舉動是他首次明確將加征關稅與匯率走勢掛鉤，因而標誌著他的貿易政策可能進入以匯市為戰場的新階段。
當地時間12月2日晚，美國總統特朗普偕夫人梅拉尼婭抵達倫敦，將參加於12月3日至4日舉行的北約成立70周年峰會。
然而，在他的身後，民主黨人對他的彈劾調查正進入關鍵時刻：12月3日，眾議院情報委員會將公佈彈劾調查報告；12月4日，眾議院司法委員會將舉行首場彈劾聽證會。
據報導，民主黨人正加快彈劾調查的步伐，希望在耶誕節之前就彈劾舉行投票表決。根據總統彈劾程式，眾議院司法委員會將草擬出彈劾條款，之後提交眾議院交由所有議員表決。若是眾議院以簡單多數票通過彈劾條款，總統就會遭到彈劾——某種意義上而言，相當於遭到起訴。
