金價蓄勢待發，美元指數受重大危機
2月6日，美元指數震盪上漲，因特朗普的國情諮文中的基建內容支撐了美元上漲，但因德國經濟數據不佳，歐洲政局不穩，歐元面臨危機，提振美元。現貨黃金小幅度下挫。
美國總統特朗普5日晚間在國會發表國情諮文演講，力推加強邊境管控、限制非法移民入境等政策。在經濟方面，特朗普表示迫切希望與國會共同努力通過基礎設施投資法案，為新的、重要的基礎設施建設進行投資，包括對未來前沿產業的投資。
特朗普還表示，希望國會能夠批准新的“美國—墨西哥—加拿大協定”以取代北美自由貿易協定，稱這將帶來製造業就業崗位的回歸，推動美國農業發展，保護知識產權，並確保更多汽車在美國製造。特朗普還呼籲國會立法就治療愛滋病和兒童癌症加強研究、限制藥品價格、設立帶薪產假制度等。
特朗普結束了上任以來第二次國情諮文演講。據CBS發佈的民調顯示，76%的受訪者贊同特朗普這次國情諮文演講，24%不支持。同時，72%受訪者贊成特朗普演講中關於移民的內容，71%認為美國南部邊境存在危機，78%的受訪者認為第二次特金會是個好主意。
去年中國的黃金需求增長了5.7%，達到1151噸。 然而，增長率明顯低於一年前，雖然需求增加，但供應減少了近6%。多年來，中國一直在利用進口來填補這一空白。去年，香港和瑞士是主要供應商。
英國國家經濟社會研究院（NIESR）表示，即便達成脫歐協議，未來幾年英國經濟增長仍將低迷。NIESR在週三的報告中將2019年英國GDP增速自1.9%下調至1.5%，並表示2020年與2021年英國經濟產出只會略微回升至1.7%。NIESR表示，英國脫歐更加混亂的狀況可能會導致投資下滑，推動增長率進一步下降。
