美股隔夜大漲，黃金多頭依舊堅挺
12月27日，現貨黃金轉跌，因美元指數出現近一周的高點。儘管北宮和美聯儲的關係有所緩和，以及美國經濟數據好於預期讓美元市場受到鼓舞。推動美股大漲。但是特朗普對政府關門事件表現持久戰意圖以及中美貿易關係改善對美元形成壓力，黃金多頭依舊得到支撐。
從經濟表現來看，今年可能是有史以來最好的一個耶誕節。他表示，市場目前關注明年的下行風險，但我們也看到很多上行風險。當市場重新關注數據時，他們將會看到風險是平衡的。
強勁的銷售數據表明，對全球增長放緩擔憂所帶來的市場劇烈波動，到目前為止尚未影響到消費者信心。數周來因美債大跌而承受壓力的美元匯率隔夜因此得到一些喘息。
由於是否為總統擬議的邊界牆提供資金陷入僵局，美國九個聯邦部門的資金已經告罄。由於國會領導人和白宮似乎在達成協議方面沒有取得什麼進展，關閉可能持續到1月3日，當時民主黨人將控制眾議院。
美國總統特朗普週三表示，為獲得50億美元的邊境牆撥款，他準備需要多久就等多久。這項要求已導致部分聯邦政府關門進入第六天，且還沒有立即結束的跡象。
特朗普此前曾表示，他已經做好了政府長期關門的準備。週三當被問及要得到想要的東西，他會等多久時說，“不惜一切代價”。
在特朗普和國會領導人為期幾周的談判失敗後，美國部分政府部門於上周六關門，影響國土安全部、運輸部和其他部門共計約80萬名員工。美國國會安排週四假期結束後重新召開會議，繼續就此事展開辯論。
美國商務部公佈的重要指標有國內生產總值(GDP)、通脹、個人收入與支出、貿易收支以及新屋銷售，其中很多是投資者和決策者密切關注的數據。
有媒體報導稱，美國一貿易代表團將在1月7日當周前往北京與中國官員進行會晤。該代表團將由美國貿易副代表葛瑞雪(Jeffrey Gerrish)率領，成員包括財政部主管國際事務的副部長馬爾帕斯。
分析師表示：“由於上周突破了200日移動平均線，黃金的前景更加光明，且美元疲軟也有助於黃金。”
投資者對黃金的信心反映在最大的交易所交易基金SPDR Gold的持股量激增中。 SPDR持倉量達到自8月份以來的最高水準，自10月觸及超過兩年半低點以來，已上漲約8%。
