特朗普不斷翻臉，黃金翻江倒海
4月13日，現貨黃金價格上漲，仍受到敘利亞局勢的支撐。但金價週四下跌1.3%，為3月28日以來最大單日百分比降幅，因特朗普緩和了市場對美國將很快發動對敘軍事打擊的擔憂。
分析師表示，由於敘利亞緊張局勢升溫引發地緣政治憂慮，金價上漲。
美國總統特朗普與其國家安全助手週四討論了美國在敘利亞問題上的各種選項。特朗普此前威脅發射導彈打擊敘利亞，回應疑似毒氣襲擊事件。俄羅斯常駐聯合國代表表示，擔憂美俄之間會爆發更廣泛的衝突。
但特朗普週四(4月12日)表示，可能對敘利亞發動的軍事攻擊“有可能很快，也可能一點都不快。”
特朗普在推特寫道：“我從沒說過對敘利亞的攻擊何時會發生。”特朗普的此番表態之後，全球股市反彈，美元走堅。
隨著美敘局勢暫時緩和，金價在連續四日上漲後錄得下跌，投資者獲利了結意願上升。不過，預計在美國和中國之間的貿易爭端、以及敘利亞局勢仍未完全緩解的情況下，金價仍將維持於1330美元之上。
對中美之間爆發貿易戰擔憂的緩解，也在前一日對金價構成壓力。美國總統特朗普聲稱，中美兩國的貿易“磋商”進展良好。
分析師說：“我認為，總的看來未來金價將面臨下行風險，因為貿易戰擔憂緩解，而且增長相關消息面改善，應令今年稍後的避險需求下降。”
