消息面上，美国零售以及PPI不佳，录8月最大降幅，市场关于美联储推迟升息的忧虑加重，美国9月PPI月率录得8个月以来最大降幅，成为低油价和美元走强背景下通胀压力维持在低位的最新迹象，这或令美联储今年加息再添压力。。另外，中共公布的的数据也不乐观。中国国家统计局周三公布，9月居民消费价格指数(CPI)年率上涨1.6%，预计为上涨1.8%，上月创出一年高点2.0%。周二中国公布的数据显示9月进口下滑近20%，这两个数据暗示中国经济仍然阴云密布，可能影响到美联储的升息计划。
