本月公布的劳动力市场数据表现良好，表明美国就业市场状况比较健康，为美联储加息增添砝码。最近一次公布的美国至8月22日当周初请失业金人数录得最近四周以来首次下降，并连续第25周处于30万关口下方，此外更为均衡全面的四周均值也处于15年低点水平。旧金山联储主席威廉姆斯周一(9月7日)表示，美国经济接近充分就业。不过美国经济目前面临“巨大的全球顶头风”。威廉姆斯还指出，强势美元对美国经济有着显著影响。如果风险消退，今年晚些时候或加息。威廉姆斯并没有对美联储9月的行动进行置评。
