美元指数周一(8月4日)小幅收升，周二早盘继续走高，升至97.62，欧元兑美元一度跌至1.0931，昨日公布的美国核心PCE物价指数大体良好，巩固了美联储9月加息的预期。美国6月PCE物价指数月率上升0.2%，符合预期，前值为上升0.3%；PCE物价指数年率上升0.3%，高于预期和前值0.2%的升幅。不包括波动较大的食品和能源价格，6月核心PCE物价指数月率上升0.1%，前值上升0.1%；核心PCE物价指数年率上升1.3%，预期值1.2%，前值由上升1.2%修正为上升1.3%。PCE物价指数是美联储(Fed)更青睐的通胀指标。
