昨日美元指数走高，主要因强劲的美国GDP和就业数据再度支撑了美联储九月加息的预期。具体数据显示，美国二季度实际GDP年化季率环比初值2.3%，预期2.5%，前值从-0.2%修正至0.6%；美国二季度GDP平减指数初值2%，预期1.5%，前值从0.0%修正为0.1%。欧元兑美元走软，主要受到强势美元的拖累，此外当日德国就业和通胀数据表现疲软也是打压欧元走低的重要因素；IMF表示不会为希腊提供第三轮援助也施压欧元走软。
