美国劳工部公布的数据显示，美国上周季调后初请失业金人数创2000年4月15日以来最低，这同时创新了美国劳工部统计初请数据以来的历史第二低位。表明进入春季后美国劳动力市场转暖趋势明显。另外，美国续申失业金人数同样表现乐观，加上早前略显鹰派的美联储FOMC会议纪要，使外界对其6月加息的预期有所升温。美元因此大幅提振，打压现货黄金一路下跌，跌幅达到2.3%；希腊政府与债权人周四(4月30日)就改革换贷款进行坦诚谈判，希腊暗示将做出迄今为止的最大让步，但试图向左翼支持者保证，并未放弃反撙节的原则。
