黄金与外汇的密切联系

外汇市场对黄金市场的影响是怎样的呢？由于世界黄金市场以美元标价，因此，外汇市场上美元汇率的波动，对黄金价格有很大的影响。根据近10年的历史数据统计，黄金价格与美元汇率有80%左右的负相关。一般来说，美元涨，黄金跌；美元跌，黄金涨。
原因主要有几个：一是美元的涨跌，代表市场对美元资产信心的大小。美元涨，能吸引资金买入美元计价的资产，以获取利润；而美元跌，则是部分资金对美元资产失去信心，转而买入黄金以求保值获利。二是美元下跌，表示欧元、日元等货币的汇率上涨，那本国黄金市场以欧元和日元标价的黄金价格就显得相对便宜，并吸引投资者买入。这些资金的流入，自然而然就推动了黄金价格的上涨。
而黄金价格的波动对外汇市场的影响主要体现在对商品货币的影响上。商品货币国家的主要特征是高利率、出口占据国民生产总值比例较高、为某种重要初级产品的主要生产和出口国、其货币汇率与某种商品(或者黄金价格)同向变动。主要的商品货币有澳元、加元、新西兰元、挪威克郎、南非兰特。黄金作为一种重要的商品，其价格的涨跌，对商品货币也有一定的影响。一般而言，黄金价格的上涨能带动商品货币汇率的上涨，特别是对南非这类重要的黄金出口国，更是一种利好因素。近几年黄金价格的大幅上涨，南非兰特的汇率也跟着水涨船高。
