黄金现货中立仓的建仓手段有
1、 当申报交割结果为买金量大于卖金量时，黄金现货中立仓以卖金的形式入市，收到卖金款项且按当天黄金现货结算价获得多头持仓。
2、 当申报交割结果为卖金量大于买金量时，黄金现货中立仓以买金的形式入市，买进黄金以后，且按当天的黄金现货结算价获得空头持仓。
由于在每日的黄金现货交易结束以后，总会有些多单或空单未能完全被平掉仓位，剩余的那部分未被平仓的头寸，贵金属交易所将会在交易时机之外另外组织交易，且当黄金现货交割的申报数量不相等时，具有可用资金或存货的会员单位或客户，可以申请黄金现货中立仓申报。中立仓申报成功的会员单位或客户，可获得相应的递延补偿费收入，并获得反向持仓。
当黄金现货中立仓进入申报交割的阶段时，交易平台系统将会对该黄金现货中立仓生成黄金现货反向中立仓，这个黄金现货反向中立仓免除交割手续费，原来建立黄金现货中立仓的投资者可以选择对交割或平仓，平仓的话，则要收取万分之六的手续费。
