黄金期货属于黄金投资理财中的一部分，其交易的规则和其他金属交易差不多。期货合约是指由交易所统一制定的、规定在将来某一特定的时间和地点交割一定数量标的物的标准化合约，而我国第一个做黄金期货投资的是上海期货交易所，于1月9日上线。接下来，我们就为投资者介绍一下关于黄金期货的交易原则。
1、交易基本知识：交易的品种是黄金；报价单位以人民币来计算；1手为1000克；允许的最小变动价位为0.01元/克。黄金期货的交易时间为上午9:00—11:30，下午1:30—3:00；最后交易日为合约交割月份的15日（遇法定假日顺延）；具体交割时间为最后交易日后的连续五个工作日。
2、交易的质量规定：交割品级金含量不小于99.95%的国产金锭及经交易所认可的伦敦金银市场协会（LBMA）认定的合格供货商或精炼厂生产的标准金锭。且用于实物交割的贵金属，必须是交易所注册的品牌或交易所认可的伦敦金银市场协会(LBMA)认定的合格供货商或精炼厂生产的标准金锭，具体的注册品牌和升贴水标准，由交易所另行规定并公告。
3、结算业务：结算业务是指交易所根据交易结果、公布的结算价格和交易所有关规定对交易双方的交易盈亏状况进行资金清算和划转的业务活动。而期货交易的结算，是由交易所统一组织进行。
4、交易业务：客户可以通过书面、电话、互联网等委托方式以及中国证监会规定的其他方式，向会员下达交易指令。 交易指令分为市价指令、限价指令及交易所规定的其他指令；市价指令是指不限定价格的、按照当时市场上可执行的最优报价成交的指令，市价指令的未成交部分自动撤销。 限价指令是指按照限定价格或者更优价格成交的指令。限价指令当日有效，未成交部分可以撤销。
综上所述，黄金期货交易涉及的知识面比较广泛，所以投资者在进行投资之前最好先做一个简单的了解，知道当中所涉及交易方法再进行投资品种的选择为宜。
