从08年开始，国家就发文表示过银行可以做黄金期货投资，不过这不是说大家可以通过银行进行黄金期货的投资，而是说银行可以作为公司开设企业账户，利用自己的资金去做投资，而不是为投资者提供平台来投资。
五大银行可开通银期转账
很多人说通过网银炒黄金期货，其实这句话并不正确。准确来说，通过网银开通的是银期转账，作用是用于为黄金期货投资者提供自助式的资金转账服务，实现资金在本人银行结算账户与期货保证金账户之间定向实施划转。但投资者要炒黄金期货，还是得通过期货公司开设投资账户。
而目前可以开设银期转账的银行分别是工商、农业、中国、建设、交通这五大银行机构，在投资者到期货公司开设期货保证金账户后，就可以通过此五家银行签订银期转账业务。
