汇市波动对黄金市场的影响 尤其美元
很多时候，汇市的波动对金市影响是非常大的。当美元汇率大涨大跌时，常常会带动黄金下跌和上涨。欧元的上涨也会带动黄金的上涨，一般地说，美元涨，黄金跌，美元跌，黄金涨，不排除同步的情况，但样的情况非常少，如果出现这样的情况，投资者需要认真分析，慎重考虑.
在国际外汇市场上，美元的疲软往往会推动金价的上涨，这是由于美元的下跌既可以使那些以非美元作为本位币的投资者用其他货币买到便宜的黄金，同时又能刺激黄金需求，特别是黄金首饰方面的消费需求。如1985～1987年，美元对瑞士法郎贬值40%时，黄金价格就从每盎司300美元涨到500美元。
一般而言，当美国经济增长速度放缓，出现衰退迹象时，美元汇率下跌则金价可望上扬。反之，美元汇率回升，金价则将会下跌。这是因为美元汇率的下跌往往与通货膨胀有关，致使市场投机性需求增加，进而刺激市场金价上升。1971年8月和1973年2月，美国政府曾两次宣布美元贬值，正是在美元汇率大幅度下跌以及通货膨胀等因素的作用下，1980年初国际黄金市场上黄金价格上升到历史的最高水平，即突破800美元/盎司。回顾过去三十多年的历史可以发现，凡美元对其他西方国家的货币汇价坚挺时，则国际市场的金价就会大幅滑落。如果美元出现小幅贬值，金价就会逐渐上升。
