大田金業讲故事：中科创业嘲弄中国股市
中科创业，前身为康达尔，是一家以饲料和养殖业为主的老牌上市公司。1999年12月，“养鸡专业户”康达尔突然爆发了一场彻头彻尾的大变革，股东大换血，经营大转型，名称大变样，在二级市场中连续暴涨。从一名养殖专业户转身成为一个高科技网络概念的新星公司“中科创业”，以“高科技+金融”的“高科技新贵”身份闪亮登场，成为0048长庄股，股价连年飙升。然而，大家却想不到，这样一位中国股市母亲的“掌中宝”，却成为了嘲讽“母亲”的第一人。
21世纪伊始，中科创业突遭重创，连续9个交易日跌停，股价由最高的84元一路跌至11元，0048的异常走势引起了证管办、中国证监会的高度警觉，遂向公安机关报案。一个月后，北京市公安局对中科创业正式立案侦查，北京检察院也介入此案，协助调查。当时这起案件号称“四最”——涉案金额最高（54亿元）、涉案地区最广（26个省、自治区、直辖市）、涉案单位最多（125家营业部、50余家融资单位）、涉案卷宗最厚（500余册摞起来2米之高）。在公安机关与检察院的共同努力之下，终于搜集到了证明中科创业犯有操纵股票交易价格案的有力证据。
2002年6月中旬，久拖未决的中科创业股票价格操纵案在北京市第二中级人民法院第二法院开庭审理。就在真相浮出水面的那一刻，人们都感觉中科创业的做法是对中国证券市场的一个莫大嘲弄。
中科创业的专家吕梁等人操纵股票价格的手法和过程，让公众触目惊心。这些人利用自己的权力违规为客户融资并提供个人股东账户，被证监会发现并罚款警告后，仍然不知悔改，愈演愈烈。更可怕的是，在吕梁的指使下，丁福根、庞博等人在申银万国证券股份有限公司上海陆家滨营业部、中兴信托投资有限责任公司北京亚运村营业部等125家营业部，先后开设股东账户1500余个，同时采取以不转移实际控制权为目的的自买自卖，及利用购买深圳康达尔公司法人股并进入这家上市公司董事会发布信息，从而影响0048股票交易价格等方法，联合或连续买卖0048股票，其间最高持有或控制0048股票共计5600余万股，使中科创业股票价格从1999年四五月的10多元炒到84元。尽管证监会对其进行了处罚，但是这件事情还是发生了。
“掌中宝”瞬间成为了讽刺中国股市的“逆子”，“母亲”痛心过后，是否应该找到更有效的的措施，防止这种事情的再次发生呢？
