对于当时只有16岁，学习成绩并不突出的南师附中江宁分校的学生王天晓而言，是什么让他得到了剑桥大学的钟爱呢？
奥秘就在王天晓面试时随身携带着自己的炒股交割单，剑桥的录取负责人认为王天晓在金融方面具有一定的潜质。在高一时，他用爸爸给他的1000美元赚了20%，高二时，他用爸爸给他的一万美元赚到了25%。比起学习成绩的好坏，剑桥大学却更在乎学生的潜质，因为潜质更能影响学生未来的发展。
