大田金業讲故事：布里丹毛驴效应
两个牧童进深山，入狼窝，发现两只小狼崽。他俩各抱一只分别爬上大要，两树相距数十步，片刻老狼来寻子。一个牧童在树上掐小狼的耳朵，弄得小狼嗷叫连天，老狼闻声奔来，气急败坏地在树下乱抓乱咬。
此时，另一棵树上的牧童拧小狼的腿，这只小狼也连声嗷叫，老狼又闻声赶去，就不停地奔波于两树之间，终于累得气绝身亡。
这只狼之所以累死，原因就在于它企图救回自己的两只狼崽，一只都不想放弃。实际上，只要它守住其中一棵树，用不了多久就能至少救回一只。
这只狼犯了一个错误，那就是布里丹毛驴效应。更为可悲的是，它不仅在实质上，而且在形式上也完整地再现了这一效应的形成过程。
在我们每一个人的生活中也经常面临着种种抉择，如何选择对人生的成败得失关系极，因而人们都希望得到最佳的抉择，常常在抉择之前反复权衡利弊，再三仔细斟酌，甚至犹豫不决，举棋不定。但是，在很多情况下，机会稍纵即逝，并没有留下足够的时间让我们去反复思考，反而要求我们当机立断，迅速决策。如果我们犹豫不决，就会两手空空，一无所获。
