一则淘金小故事，告诉你认清投资方向的重要性
在19世纪的美国加州，因为当地传出发现金矿的消息，一时间就吸引了大批的工人到当地淘金。而其中，17岁的小杰克也是当时淘金大军中的一员。
不过在到了加州后，小杰克发现随着大批淘金工人的陆续到来，不但金子没挖到多少，反而因为当地缺乏水源，使得大多数人喝不上水。所以小杰克灵机一动，与其跟着工人一起去掘金，不如利用金矿附近的水源凿渠引流，给大家卖水。
所以，当大批的工人往金矿里走的时候，小杰克却只是耐心地在山脚挖好引流水源的渠道，每天拿木桶装水卖给淘金的工人。当时，部分淘金者还嘲笑他说别人都是来淘金的，你倒去掏水去了。
但两年过去后，大部分淘金的工人都失望地空手而归，小杰克却靠着卖水的生意，在两年里积蓄了一大笔财富，成为了淘金队伍中少数的胜利者之一。
