一个神奇的枕头，通向富贵荣华之梦
梦想是丰满的，但现实很骨感。
从前，有个姓卢的青年，十年寒窗，但却屡试不中，人们都叫他卢生。卢生家境非常贫寒，但他却总向往着荣华富贵。
一次，他外出旅游经过邯郸，住在一家客栈里。在客栈里住着一个姓吕的老人，卢生见老人生得慈眉善目，谈吐不凡，于是便和他攀谈起来。在谈话之间，卢生连连叹息自己穷困境遇，时时流露出不甘寂寞，向往荣华富贵的心情。
姓吕的老头知道了卢生的心愿，便从袋子里取出一个精美的刺绣漂亮枕头说：“后生，你枕着这个枕头睡一觉，就可以得到你所向往的荣华富贵了。”
卢生听了半信半疑，这时他看见店主人正在煮黄米饭，于是心想：“反正离吃饭时间还早，不妨就试试吧。”卢生躺下去、头刚挨到枕头，果然就立刻做起美梦来。
他梦见自己娶了清河崔府的一位高贵美丽的小姐为妻，然后过着锦衣玉食的日子，崔府有钱有势，借着崔府在城里的地位和名声，他便开始发奋读书，到了第二年考上了进士。然后皇上召见他，并且还钦点了他。后来，他步步高升，青云直上，凭着他在朝中的关系和皇帝对他的信赖，他不仅做了“节度使”、“御史大夫”这样的封疆大吏，还当了宰相，而且一干就是十年，后来，由于他的卓越成绩和对国家的贡献，被皇上封为“赵国公”。
他梦见自己有五个儿子，儿子个个都做了官，并且还都同名门望族结了亲。他还梦见自己有十几个孙子，孙子个个聪明过人。大小官员都和他来往，恭维他，称赞他，他觉得自己神气十足。他金银成堆，财宝无数，整天过着花天酒地的生活。他的年寿很高，一直活到八十多岁。正当他沉浸在荣华富贵、纸醉金迷的生活之中。突然从梦中醒来，睁开眼睛一看，店主人煮的那锅黄米饭还没熟呢。
他感到非常惊异，几十年的富贵荣华，竟是短短的一个梦。
年轻人想实现自己的人生理想，只发不白日梦是不行的，要脚踏实地，为梦想付出汗水，坚持不懈。只有这样，梦想才能变成现实。
