葡萄牙将动用救助基金对圣灵银行进行资本重组

葡萄牙将动用49亿欧元(约合65.8亿美元)挽救国内最大的上市银行–圣灵银行(BES)，在葡萄牙刚退出国际救助计划数个月之际，这将考验欧元区能否经受住又一场银行业危机的冲击。
研究机构Sentix公布调查显示，欧元区8月投资者信心意外下滑，因欧盟对俄罗斯的经济制裁打击了增长预期，特别是欧洲最大经济体德国的增长预期。数据显示，欧元区8月SENTIX投资者信心指数降至2.7，为一年来最低。路透调查访问的分析师预估为微降至9.0，7月为10.1。
德国一位发言人士周一表示，针对美国的银行业制裁法令，法国和德国正寻求欧盟采取统一立场。不过对于推动在今年稍晚20国集团(G20)会议上挑战美国制裁法令的报导，法国予以否认。法国财政部表示，正寻求其它欧盟国家的支持，提高欧元在国际商务中的应用，以降低欧洲企业因美国制裁法令而面临的代价高昂的风险。
