本年4月美国经济数据大致向好

美国商务部称，4月耐用品订单增长0.8%，优于分析师预期的下滑0.5%，因国防资本财需求激增，金属制品、交通设备、电子设备以及电器和零部件订单增长。尽管备受关注的反映企业支出计划的所谓核心资本财订单–不包括飞机的非国防资本财订单在4月下降1.2%，但3月数据从增长2.9%的初值被上修至增长4.7%，修正后增幅为11月以来最大，分析师称，这将提振第二季企业支出。
另外，经济咨商会报告，5月消费者信心指数从4月的81.7增至83。家庭信心增强应有助于提振占美国经济活动的逾三分之二的消费者支出。另一项数据显示，美国房价3月继续攀升，但增幅较前月有所放缓。这可能有助于楼市的复苏。
美国4月耐久财订单意外增长，5月消费者信心增强，支持本季经济成长加速的观点。数据公布后，对美股提供支撑，而美国公债价格走低，美元指数基本持平。
