本周初请失业金人数低于预估

美国劳工部1月23日公布，经季节调整后，截至1月18日为止当周，首次申请失业救济金人数较前周修正值增加1,000人至326,000人。根据彭博社的调查，经济学家的预估值为33万人。上周首次申请失业救济金人数的4周移动平均值较前周修正值减少3,750人至331,500人。
截至1月11日为止当周，经季节调整后，连续申请失业救济金人数较前一周的修正值增加34,000人至3,056,000人。当周连续申请失业救济金人数的4周移动平均值较前一周的修正值增加31,000人至2,939,000人。截至1月11日为止当周，经过季节性因素调整后的保险失业率较前周持平为2.3%。
彭博社报导，道明证券（TD Securities USA LLC）美国研究与策略副主管Millan Mulraine认为，世界主要经济体的前景展望较为乐观，已经提振了企业与消费者的支出，并使得裁员人数受控，预计今年第一季在就业与工资进一步上扬的带动下，家庭消费将有持续增长的动力，未来两个月就业市场应可以看到更好的表现。
