美国2013年12月工业生产指数月增0.3%

美国联储局(FED)17日公布2013年12月份工业生产指数符合预期，与前期相比，工业产出月增0.3%(年增3.7%)至101.8(2007年基期=100)，为连续第5个月上扬。
当月以制造业与矿业表现最为亮眼，产出分别月增0.4%与0.8%。至于公用事业指数则是下滑1.4%。
工业产能利用率虽然自前月的79.1%微幅上升至79.2%，但还是低于1972至2012年的长期平均值80.2%点。占美国GDP比例12%的制造业产能利用率上升0.3个百分点至77.2%；矿业上升0.3个百分点至90.2%；公用事业下滑1.2个百分点至80.1%。
产能利用率是FED利率决策的参考指标之一，过低显示企业设备被闲置、景气偏弱，宽松货币政策将不会改变。反之，产能利用率若过高则有景气过热、通膨上升之虞，因此FED有可能升息调节景气。
