美国初请失业金人数创10月初新高

美国劳工部12月12日公布，经季节调整后，截至12月7日为止当周，首次申请失业救济金人数较前周修正值增加68,000人至368,000人，此创下10月初（37.3万人）以来的新高，也是去年11月以来的最大增幅。根据彭博社的调查，经济学家的预估中间值为增加至32万人，预估区间介于30-35.1万人之间。上周首次申请失业救济金人数的4周移动平均值较前周修正值增加6,000人至328,750人。
彭博社报导，劳工部发言人表示，上周初领失业金人数跳增，反映年底感恩节以及圣诞节假期因素对季节调整数据造成的困扰。此前一周的感恩节假期当周，初领失业金人数甫写下9月上旬以来的新低。Ameriprise Financial Inc.资深经济学家Russell Price认为，失业率甫创下五年新低的美国就业市场仍有相当正面的动能。
截至11月30日为止当周，经季节调整后，连续申请失业救济金人数较前一周的修正值增加40,000人至2,791,000人。当周连续申请失业救济金人数的4周移动平均值较前一周的修正值减少4,750人至2,793,500人。截至11月30日为止当周，经过季节性因素调整后的保险失业率较前周持平为2.1%。
