澳洲就业人数优于预期 汽车业失业率升

澳洲统计局(ABS)12日公布，2013年11月当地经季节性因素调整后的失业率自5.7%升至5.8%，失业人数增加3,400人至712,500人。ABS统计显示，11月就业人口增加21,000人至11,659,900人，主要是受到全职就业人数增加(上扬15,500人至8,107,900人)的激励；兼差人数亦增加5,500人至3,552,000人。经季节性因素调整后的劳动参与率持平于64.8%。彭博社报导，分析师原先预估11月就业人口将增加10,000人。澳洲央行(RBA)自2011年11月以来累计已调降隔夜现金利率达225个基点。RBA 3日宣布维持利率在2.5%的历史最低点不变。彭博社统计显示，1990-2006年期间澳元兑美元汇率不曾站上0.85，但近3年来则是一直力守在0.85之上。
《澳洲人报》12日报导，澳洲汽车业重镇南澳省、维多利亚省11月失业率同步上扬0.2个百分点至6.8%、6.2%。Thomson Reuters 11日报导，通用汽车(General Motors Co)宣布，受澳元汇率居高不下、制造成本偏高等因素影响，位于南澳省、维多利亚省的霍顿(Holden)车厂将于2017年关闭。
