美商务部10日公布10月份趸售存货优于预期，月增1.4%至5,141亿美元。据路透社调查，经济学家原预估趸售存货将上扬0.3%。存货是美国GDP组成的要项之一，若与去年同期相比，趸售存货年增3.3%。
当月耐久财类存货月增0.4%、年增4.%，项下计算机与计算机周边产品月增5.7%，而汽车与车用零件存货月增2.7%；非耐久财类趸售存货月增3%、年增2.2%，其中农产品月增17%。
趸售销售月增1%、年增6.4%至4,353亿美元，其中耐久财月增率持平，但年增7.5%，项下机械设备月增3.8%，而汽车项目则月减4.5%；非耐久财类月增1.8%、年增5.5%，项下石油类制品月增3.6%。
趸售存货/销售比为1.18，与前月持平，但低于去年同期的1.22，意味着以当前销售速度，存货水位只能支应厂商1.18个月。
