美国11月份就业复苏力道惊人，失业率一举由7.3%下降至5年新低的7%，外加非农就业人口新增20.3万人，增幅创3个月新高。据路透社调查，经济学家原预估非农就业将新增18万人，而失业率则是降至7.2%。除了就业市况好转外，工资、工时成长也均有改善，这将有助提升消费信心，也同时意味着市场需求有望改善，并可推升经济成长。不过，在另一方面，就业市场强力复苏恐将促使联准会(FED)提前收紧宽松货币政策。FED下次货币决策会议时间为12月17至18日。数据显示，就业增长主要来自运输物流业新增3.1万人、教育与医疗服务业2.96万人、制造业2.7万人、零售业2.2万人、营建业1.7万人。
劳动参与率自前月的62.8%上升至63%；就业人口比率自58.3%进步至58.6%。截至11月止之前12个月，非农就业平均月增19.5万人；长期失业人口(至少27周)约与前月持平在410万人，占总失业人口比例自36.1%上升至37.3%。平均失业周数自36.1周上升至37.2周。民间非农业部门每小时平均工资增加0.2%至24.15美元；每周平均工时增加0.1小时至34.5小时，其中制造业员工每周平均工时、加班时数亦分别增加0.1小时至40.1时与3.5小时。
