德央行痛批政治人物把问题丢给央行

华尔街日报(WSJ)报导，德国央行总裁Jens Weidmann 25日在哈佛大学发表演说时指出，全球主要央行在决策时可能过度担心政府财政与金融稳定、忘了确保物价稳定才是他们的主要任务。他痛批，许多政治人物一股脑地把「物价稳定」、「低失业率」、「监管银行业」、「主权信用」、「殖利率曲线走势」、「资产负债表问题」、「汇率」等责任全部都丢给央行。Weidmann还提到，欧洲央行(ECB)应该对欧元区银行订定个别会员国公债持有金额上限，银行与政府间应设立一道防火墙。
Thomson Reuters报导，Weidmann 25日并且指出，ECB监管银行业应该只是短期权宜之计，因为长期而言利益冲突的问题可能会浮现。他说，如果央行担保政府的偿债能力，那么政府官员可能就不会认真看待国家财政问题。ECB将自2014年11月起接下监管欧元区银行业的责任。英国金融时报13日报导，Weidmann表示，他理解德国存款户的疑虑。他说，长期实施低利率政策是有风险的，负实质利率不该成为常态。
